ACE: Under the sea is a live wallpaper that displays fishes swimming at the bottom of the ocean. Shake your cell for a handy sound effect. The effect is very similar to your own virtual aquarium. The wallpaper is free and includes a settings menu to enable or disable the sound.
This live wallpaper is part of the ACE wallpaper series. ACE wallpapers are colorful animated wallpapers intended for second generation android devices or upper. The ACE Under the sea Aquarium live wallpaper is optimized for normal HVGA resolution of 320x480 but works in higher density devices by scaling up.
The animation displays two fish banks moving under your icons crossing from one corner to the other. Our aquarium consists on several bank of fishes and bubbling animations. Each fish bank is animated using a particle system that uses scale zoom and movement to make a highly effective HD simulation. In addition, a constant set of bubbles pop up from the bottom of the sea.
Be the king of the mares with this funny animation. The fishes rendered are tropical fishes like found on caribbean coral reefs, in colorful tones of blue and green. Fishes are uniformly rendered of the same type. Instead of real fancy blowfish, piranhas, or sea dragons it is more likely to banks of lame fish. There are neither fancy stuff like mermaids, pirate ships or shaken bounties, but it is pretty cool for a free app.
This animation differs from other wallpapers or aquariums in that is not interactive. Touching or tapping the screen produces no effect but you still get a bonus by shaking the mobile (sound effect trick)
