《徐霞客遊記》是以日記體為主的地理著作，明末地理學家徐弘祖（一作宏祖，號霞客）經34年旅行，寫有天臺山、雁蕩山、黃山、廬山等名山遊記17篇和《浙遊日記》、《江右遊日記》、《楚遊日記》、《粵襠遊日記》、《黔遊日記》、《滇遊日記》等著作，除佚散者外，遺有60餘萬字遊記資料，死後由他人整理成《徐霞客遊記》。世傳本有10卷、12卷、20卷等數種，主要按日記蠰作者1613～1639年間旅行觀察所得，對地理、水文、地質、植物等現象，均作詳細記錄，在地理學和文學上卓有重要的價值。
