Description [menu]
Aikido is a Japanese martial art based on the principles of harmony that contains both empty hand and weapons techniques. The weapon techniques in this iBudokan series are of the “Iwama” aikido tradition as taught by the late Morihiro Saito Sensei (9th dan Aikikai). The Aiki-ken and Aiki-jo in this series are demonstrated by Miles Kessler Sensei, 5th dan (Aikikai), a long time student of Saito Sensei.
iBudokan’s “Aikido Weapons App 4” covers the “Aiki-jo” and includes basic “awase” (blending practices), and “kumi jo” (partner practices). It features 20 techniques professionally filmed in 80 detailed video clips. Each technique in the series is presented from different views including:
- Multi-view
- Front view
- Top View
- Side View
- Slow motion
Training with iBudokan’s Aikido Weapons App with the various points of view allows the Aikido student a full range of technical instruction. It is the ideal training supplement for beginner's and advanced practitioners to receive the highest level of instruction at the touch of a finger.
You can test the quality of iBudokan’s Aikido Weapons App by downloading the Aikido Weapons Free app.
