Armoured vehicles often have armour that is sloped, rather than vertical. Sloped armour provides greater protection than vertical armour. This app will calculate the effective armour thickness of sloped armour, given the actual thickness of the armour plate and the angle of the slope. It can also take into account the angle from which the firer is shooting.
