Jan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, nombre de pila del artista, nació en San Juan Puerto Rico, pero es hijo de padres dominicanos y conocido artísticamente como Ozuna. Es representado en el país por Remsy Minaya.
En el año 2014 firmó un contrato con la compañía Golden Family Records Inc., corporación plantada en Puerto Rico, con la cual da proyección a su carrera musical.
Ozuna tiene su propio estudio, donde grabó su primer sencillo titulado “Imaginando”. Gracias a este tema comenzó a viajar a lugares como México, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Panamá, Costa Rica y Londres.
