Works without an Internet connection, Drew. Maps are VERY local to the mountain and are stored locally. Will pretty much show you a blank screen if you're not on the mountain. Should be fairly up to date and accurate, but don't expect it to be very polished or pretty. I didn't have much time so it's rather half-baked and slapped together.
