'Hanuman Jayanti' is an important festival of Hindus. it is celebrated as the birthday of the great monkey god 'Hanuman'. It is also called 'Hanumath Jayanti'. It is celebrated all over India. It falls on the full moon of Chaitra month according to Hindu Calendar.
Hanuman was the eleventh incarnation of Shiva. Hanuman took this form to help Rama in his war against Ravana. The loyalty and might of Hanuman are extolled in the Ramayana. He is worshipped as a symbol of physical strength, perseverance and devotion.

Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated in true style because Hanuman is considered the living embodiment of the true Karma Yogi.
