The ‘Hello PyeongChang Test Events’ are the test events programme for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. In total, there are 29 sporting events taking place in the same competition venues which will be used during the Games.
The test events will be a unique opportunity for athletes and officials to familiarise themselves with the competition venues and the host region. It will also be an ideal platform for the public to participate and engage with the events and the Games. In total, 3,000 athletes are expected to participate in the test events - many of them coming to Korea for the first time - as well as 10,000 volunteers.
