舞台は、紀元前の中国、春秋戦国時代。
最果ての国・秦で、孤児として暮らしていた二人の少年・䠡と漂の夢は、鍛錬を積だ戦で武功を立て「天下の大将軍」になることだった。
そんな䠡と漂にある転機が訪れた。
秦王国の大臣・昌文君の目に留まった漂が王宮に召し上げられることに。
しかし、
すぐに王宮の争い事に巻き込まれ負傷した漂は一命を取りとめなんとか故郷へと戻る。
そして、漂から託された地図をもとに訪ねた村で䠡は、漂とそっくりの少年・秦王攠と出会う。
後に中国を統一し中国史初の始皇帝となる男だった。
