Rakendus loeb eesti keeles ette värskeid uudiseid. Kasutajal on võimalik valida kolme sünteeshääle ja erinevate lugemiskiiruste vahel. Rakendus on abiks, kui soovite ülevaadet uudistest, aga teil pole võimalik telefoniekraani jälgida. Uudiste loetelus on võimalik ettelugemiseks valida üksikuid uudiseid või lasta neid ette lugeda järjest.
Uudistelugeja on loodud Eesti Keele Instituudis, vt http://heli.eki.ee/uudistelugeja/.
