Ziel des Spiels ist es, alle "Merlins“ zu zerstören und dabei möglichst viele Punkte zu sammeln. Gewonnen hat man sobald keine Merlins mehr auf dem Spielfeld zu sehen sind. Man bekommt allerdings nur dann Punkte, wenn auf ein Bällchen gedrückt wird. Sobald man auf einen Merlin oder ein Bällchen drückt, kommen zwei neue Merlins oder Bällchen hinzu. Es wird also immer schwieriger alle "Merlins" zu töten.
