Weltweit erstmalig wird beim Mariazeller Advent eine App für Handy präsentiert, mit der Kinder ihre Wünsche an das Christkind senden können. Die Kinder können dabei aus einer breiten Palette an Wünschen wählen oder selbst Wünsche mittels Text hinzufügen, anschließend schichen sie ihren Wunschzettel ans Christkind. Das Christkind fragt dann still und verschweigen deren Eletern, ob die Kinder auch brav waren und die Wünsche erfüllt werden können.
