Das Tieranatomische Theater ist das älteste erhaltene akademische Lehrgebäude Berlins. Carl Gotthard Langhans, Architekt des Brandenburger Tors, entwarf den frühklassizistischen Bau 1789/1790 als Hauptgebäude der neu gegründeten Tierarzneischule. Über 200 Jahre wurde das Haus von der Veterinärmedizin genutzt. Seit Oktober 2012 dient es nach seiner aufwendigen Sanierung als Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsort. Die Hörführung gibt einen Einblick in seine Architektur- und Nutzungsgeschichte.
