Van 12 t/m 22 april 2019 staat Hertme in teken van De Passiespelen. Het aloude lijdensverhaal komt in een totaal nieuwe opzet op de bühne en dit zal met een kleine 200 spelers voor de nodige kippenvelmomenten zorgen. De titel van het stuk verwijst naar de (soms innerlijke) strijd van meerdere personages. De strijd van Jezus om zijn lijdensweg te ondergaan, van Maria om haar zoon te verliezen, van de hogepriesters om hem aan het kruis te krijgen, van de apostelen of ze Jezus moeten blijven volgen, van Maria Magdalena wat ze met haar gevoelens moet, en van het volk welke kant ze moeten kiezen.
Deze app biedt alle info over de voorstelling en biedt ook live ondertiteling tijdens de voorstelling in verschillende talen.
