Diableries - One Night In Hell APK Description
Inspired by the book “Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures in Hell” by Brian May, Denis Pellerin and Paula Fleming, the app allows user exploring the Diablerie stereo card which were made exclusively in France, beginning in the 1860s, scanned in ultra high-resolution and digitally restored, exclusive to the Diableries app.
The app also includes the Diabl-O-Scope augmented reality feature where users are able to summon virtual “One Night in Hell” characters in hi-res 3D. Explore hidden action in each scene, record and share on Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.

• VOYAGE TO ANOTHER WORLD
In France, around 1860, from the loins of a traditional national fascination with all things diabolical, was born a new sensation - a series of visionary dioramas depicting life in a strange parallel universe called ENFER - Hell - communicated to an eager audience by means of stereoscopic cards, to be viewed in the stereoscopes which had already become popular in the 1850s. This 3-D phenomenon, which fascinated a nation for 40 years, is now for you to explore.
• DIABLERIES STEREO CARDS
The cards, called 'Diableries' (which translates roughly as 'Devilments') depict a whole imaginary underworld, populated by devils, satyrs and skeletons. Examine 24 Diableries stereo cards from Brian May’s private collection. Enlarge the cards in amazing detail with intuitive controls. Illuminating the cards transforming the view into a 'night' scene, in which hidden colours magically appear, and the eyes of the skeletons leap out in red, in a most macabre way !
User who own Brian May’s OWL stereoscopic viewer can explore the cards in 3D on a tablet.
• DIABL-O-SCOPE AUGMENTED REALITY
Inspired by the film "One Night in Hell", you can interact with the 3D characters featured in the film “One Night in Hell” using the wonders of augmented reality. Launch special visual and audio effects that react to your play. Record your virtual experiences, upload and share the videos you have created, on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter.
• “ONE NIGHT IN HELL” FILM & SOUNDTRACK
Information about the “One Night in Hell” film and soundtrack, the film that brought the Diableries to animated life for the first time, featuring music arranged and produced by Brian May and recorded with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague.

In order to use the Diabl-O-Scope augmented reality feature, you need access to augmented reality Diabl-O-Triggers (“Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures in Hell” book cover, postcards, posters). For more information and to download a FREE Diabl-O-Trigger, visit www.onenightinhell.com.
In order to view the Diableries cards in 3D, Brian May’s OWL stereoscopic viewer is required. It is available for purchase separately at www.diableries.co.uk.
