This application module is required to show GPS status notification on Android 8 or later. It is just a plugin for the main GPS Status & Toolbox application. It does NOT have any user interface.

This is a VERY small (<30kb) plugin for GPS Status & Toolbox that helps the app properly show notifications on Android 8 and later devices.
Because of the changes in background process handling, on Android 8 and later a separate plugin app is required to show the GPS status notification reliably. This app does NOT have any user interface and does not require ANY permissions. It simply proxies some system notifications to the main app.
If you do not want to see system wide GPS notifications, you should NOT install this application.
How to install GPS Status - notification proxy plugin APK for Android
Download GPS Status - notification proxy plugin APK file (com.eclipsim.gpsstatus_179_26926.apk) from APKPure.live, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)

Go to Downloads
