Hida-Sma - tourist guide APK Description
“Hida-Sma” automatically receives and displays detailed and useful information when you get close to the shopping streets, shops, or facilities equipped with the Beacon system within the city of Hida Takayama.
In addition, you can search nearby shops and facilities from your location using “Hida-Sma” and receive seasonal and event information in Hida Takayama.

◆Nearby Shops/Sightseeing
You can search nearby shops and facilities from your location using "Hida-Sma".
You can refine your search by category. You can also browse the website of the shop or facility you wish to check on.
(Only if the shop or facility operates a “homepage, Facebook page”)
◆Beacon Received
When you get close to the shopping streets, shops, or facilities equipped with the Beacon (information transmitter) system, “Hida -Sma” automatically receives and displays (notifies) detailed useful information.

※Information display (notification) is disabled if the Bluetooth setting is OFF.
※IThere is a limitation on terminals that can receive the Beacon information.

【Precautions for Use】
◆Terminals that support “Hida-Sma”
・Android 4.3 or later
※ Terminals other than the above are not supported.
◆Bluetooth setting
“Hida-Sma" uses functions based on the Near Field Communication Technology, i.e., Bluetooth Low Energy (hereinafter “BLE”). Please use the service with the Bluetooth setting enabled (ON).The “Beacon Received” function is not available on terminals that do not support the BLE.
◆Location Services Setting
"Hida-Sma"uses your location to measure the distance to a shop and facilities.
Please turn on Location Services in your device settings.
◆Communication setting
“Hida-Sma” uses communication function to obtain various types of information. Please use the service with the network communication setting turned “ON”. In addition, turn the Wi-Fi setting to ON wherever Wi-Fi is available and use the service in a good transmission location.
【Usage Acknowledgment】
Hida-Sma's information on events and seasonal activities is from Takayama City, and the official site of Hida Takayama Tourism. All information is shared with the approval of Takayama City, and teh Hida Takayama Tourism Convention Association.
We have obtained approvals from Takayama City and the Takayama Yatai Preservation Society for the usage of photographs of stalls at the Takayama Festival.
