Gabriel Paixão Soares ( Duque de Caxias , 1998), better known by his stage name MC G15 , is a Brazilian singer of daring funk. It became internationally known for the release of the song " Deu Onda " in November of 2016, single that was at the top of the worldwide playlist of the Spotify platform.
Gabriel was born in the city of Duque de Caxias in 1998, and had his career leveraged when he moved to the city of São Paulo in 2015, where he lives in the Health district , located in the South Zone. His first notorious song was "Você Foi Diferente", released as a music video on April 11, 2016 by GR6 Productions. In September of the same year, G15 released the song "I spoke to them", with music video produced by KondZilla .
It became known throughout the country for the release of the song " Deu Onda " in November 2016. The first version, with explicit verses and evident sexual connotation was made available by GR6 on November 22nd, and the light version released as a music video by KondZilla on December 21st. The song is referred to by various media outlets as the "hit of the summer and the Carnival of 2017". According to the artist himself, the song was inspired by his girlfriend, Ingrid, and the horror film Invocation of Evil. The artist's cache was leveraged by 500% after the release of that song.
