High school section calculates GPA with 5, 6, or 7 classes on a 4.0 scale, both weighted and unweighted. A "D" grade for AP courses counts as zero points because of the "No D policy" in Advanced Placement.
College section calculates GPA based on 3 to 6 courses the student takes.
