Simple unofficial IR remote control Samsung TV for phones and tablets with built-in IR blaster (Samsung Galaxy, HTC ONE, LG G2 etc). The goal is not to replace the original remote, but it is very handy in emergency situations (original remote control is lost, empty batteries etc).
This application uses built-in infrared (IR Blaster). If your phone / table does not have it, but your Samsung Smart TV network (WiFi / LAN) interface, then you might be able to use the similar application with WiFi interface: Samsung TV Remote Touch (WiFi)
Tested with Samsung F6400 TV, but also works with other probably Samsung Smart TV (if it does, so let us now and give feedback).
★ Works with Samsung phones and tablets with high IR transmitter
★ Works with all phones with Android Compatibe integrated IR transmitter and Android 4.4 KitKat like HTC ONE.
★ You must point directly IR blaster your phone on TV. Usual working range is 1-3 (max ~ 5 meters).
★ No additional hardware is required
★ No ads full screen, no push notification ads or any type of pop-up similar ads!
With some phones in power saving mode or nearly empty battery IR blaster might not work or the beach is less than 5 ft.
NB! At the time this application is not compatible with HTC (running on Android 4.4.x). If you have HTC M7 / M8, then please contact me by e-mail, I can add you to a beta release group.
If this application does not work with your phone or television then feel free to email me (your TV and the exact model of phone). Then I can try to add support for your phone and / or TV model.
