Siempre he sido un gran admirador de los estoicos, y entre ellos, Séneca.

El tiempo, pero el propio tiempo, es el más valíoso de los recursos y lo desperdiciamos como si no valiera nada.
Los seres humanos no paramos de quejarnos y decir constantemente que la vida es breve y que no tenemos tiempo.
Pero la verdad es otra...
TIEMPO SI TENEMOS, MÁS QUE SUFICIENTE
Solo que no lo aprovechamos por propia decisión. Somos responsables de lo que hacemos y dejamos de hacer, y como el mismo Séneca lo dice "NO TENEMOS TIEMPO ESCAZO, SINO QUE PERDEMOS MUCHO"
La solución que propone el mismo Séneca no tiene que ver con vivir ocupado siendo un hiperactivo, ni mucho menos con echarse a la desidia y pereza, sino con dedicar el tiempo a uno mismo, a aprender de los sabios del pasado y a aportar a la vida y trascender con la propia.
Dice Séneca:
"Muy corta y abrupta es la vida de quienes olvidan el pasado,
descuidan el presente y temen el futuro. Cuando lleguen al
fi nal, entenderán, pobrecitos, que estuvieron muy ocupados
en no hacer nada"

final, understand, poor things, they were busy
doing nothing "
