Torino Wireless APK Description
L’app permette di conoscere le attività della Fondazione Torino Wireless e restare aggiornati sulle novità e le iniziative che riguardano l’ecosistema dell’innovazione in Piemonte e in Italia.
La Fondazione Torino Wireless è un partenariato pubblico-privato che opera da oltre dieci anni nella promozione e sviluppo dell’innovazione. Creata nel 2002 dal MIUR e dalle istituzioni piemontesi per sviluppare il primo Distretto Tecnologico Italiano, oggi gestisce e coordina le attività del Polo di Innovazione ICT regionale (dal 2008) e del Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale sulle Smart Communities (dal 2012).
La missione di Torino Wireless è contribuire alla competitività del territorio, accelerando la crescita delle imprese che utilizzano le tecnologie come fattore strategico di sviluppo e affiancando le istituzioni nella progettazione e gestione di processi di innovazione.
Torino Wireless ha attivato un sistema di relazioni tra mondo della ricerca, istituzioni e industria con oltre 1200 imprese coinvolte in attività di networking, marketing, progettualità e sviluppo di soluzioni innovative rivolte a numerosi settori, dall’energia alla mobilità, dal turismo all’agroalimentare, dalla sanità alla social innovation.
La Fondazione supporta le imprese nella partecipazione a bandi e progetti finanziati (misure regionali, nazionali o comunitarie) e nella ricerca di partner e l’avvio di collaborazioni fra imprese, anche attraverso la creazione di opportunità di networking con potenziali partner di ricerca, industriali e commerciali (B2B, corporate meeting, elevator pitch ecc.).
La Fondazione, inoltre, ha sviluppato una specifica competenza nel supportare Comuni ed enti locali nella definizione e stesura di piani, progetti e programmi nell’ambito delle Smart City e dell’innovazione: dal Master Plan di Torino Smart City SMILE (Smart Mobility, Inclusion, Life & Health, Energy) agli studi di fattibilità per Card Italia 150, per la realizzazione del sistema di bigliettazione integrata della Regione Piemonte o per la copertura wi-fi di aree urbane.

Cluster regionale: Polo di innovazione ICT
Il Polo ICT è una rete di oltre 200 piccole, medie, grandi imprese ed enti di ricerca pubblici e privati che collaborano nello sviluppo di progettualità e servizi innovativi. In cinque anni di attività, il Polo ICT ha ottenuto il finanziamento di più di 100 progetti di ricerca e innovazione e di più di 90 servizi per un valore totale generato sul territorio di circa 31 milioni di euro.
Cluster nazionale: SmartCommunitiesTech
Il Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale per le Smart Communities è una rete nazionale di attori territoriali, industriali e di ricerca che collaborano e sviluppano progetti di innovazione per rispondere alle sfide sociali delle moderne comunità e delle Smart City. SmartCommunitiesTech aggrega nove regioni italiane con oltre 100 imprese e centri di ricerca coinvolti sui primi quattro grandi progetti R&D finanziati dal Miur per circa 39 milioni di investimento.
The Torino Wireless Foundation is a public-private partnership that has worked for over ten years in the promotion and development of innovation. Created in 2002 by the Ministry of Education and institutions of Piedmont to develop the first Italian Technological District, currently manages and coordinates the activities of the Regional ICT Innovation Pole (since 2008) and the National Technology Cluster on Smart Communities (since 2012).
The mission of Torino Wireless is to contribute to the competitiveness of the territory, accelerating the growth of companies that use technology as a strategic development and alongside the institutions in the design and management of innovation processes.
Turin Wireless has activated a system of relations between research institutions and industry with more than 1,200 companies involved in networking activities, marketing, planning and development of innovative solutions aimed at a number of sectors, from energy to mobility, from tourism to agricultural , from health care to social innovation.
The Foundation helps companies participating in tenders and projects financed (regional measures, national or Community) and in the search for partners and initiating collaborations between businesses, including through the creation of networking opportunities with potential research partners, industrial and Business (B2B, corporate meetings, elevator pitch etc.).
The Foundation has also developed a specific expertise in supporting municipalities and local authorities in the development and drafting of plans, projects and programs in the field of Smart City and innovation: the Master Plan of Torino Smart City SMILE (Smart Mobility, Inclusion , Life & Health, Energy) to feasibility studies for 150 Card Italy, for the realization of the integrated ticketing system of the Piedmont Region and the wi-fi coverage of urban areas.
