Hi everyone. This update of the offline maps for the West Highland Way includes completely regenerated tiles, improved theming (such as how ocean water looks), and better coverage on all zoom levels. We've also managed to reduce the overall file size for the maps. As always, feedback and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Offline Maps: West Highland Way (for TrailSmart) APK Description
This is a high-quality offline map for use with our free TrailSmart: Great Trails of the World app.
It includes detailed coverage of the entire West Highland Way, between Milngavie and Fort William, plus good coverage of much of the surrounding region (including optional ascents of Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis).
Maps can be zoomed in / out, scrolled, etc. There's handy 3D shading / contour lines that provide a great perspective on the landscape.
Once downloaded, no Internet connection is required in TrailSmart.
*** Note that these maps require TrailSmart (available free). Simply download the map to your Android device and then run TrailSmart - it'll recognize the map automatically.
TrailSmart includes all of our in-depth trail content for the West Highland Way, including the GPS track for the trail as well as details on accommodations, attractions, F & B, ATMs and other services, waypoints, and more.

Tip: The file size for this map is very large (because of the 3D terrain / hill shading). Make sure you have a good WiFi connection when you download it as well as available space on your device. Maps can be deleted and re-installed as-needed if you need to temporarily free up space. Maps can optionally be moved to external storage (SD) if desired though they may work slower on some devices.

Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
